Syd had been out of comics since 1957. His return to Marvel in 1967 was marked by his return to his '40s stomping ground, Captain America. Syd inked Jack Kirby's cover to Captain America #100 (Apr '68), which featured Captain America's return to a self-titled book. Syd also inked Dick Ayers on Captain Savage. Below is the cover to #5 (Aug '68).
