The 1960s saw Bill in and out of the comics' medium. He had a job as an art director for a greeting card firm. Atlas purged itself of its creators in late '56, and didn't bring back the likes of Ditko, Kirby, Reinman and Ayers until late '58. Much of Bill's Atlas work stops dead in 1958. Stan Lee would try to bring Bill back into the fold with Daredevil #1 in 1964, but Bill would be out again until 1966. It was during this year that Bill returned full-force to the company he helped put legs under. Now, witness Bill's Marvel work...
